Prisoner of War / Missing in Action Flag 

One of the most poignant U.S. flags, the POW/MIA flag is the only flag besides the U.S. flag to fly over the White House. The POW/MIA flag commemorates the sacrifice of American soldiers who are either missing in action, or prisoner's of war. The motto, "You are not forgotten" is emblazoned underneath the profile of Jeffery Heisley, a soldier of the U.S. Marine Corps who was taken as a POW during Vietnam. This moving homage to our lost soldiers is appliqued on both sides of the flag. All government agencies and Veteran's organizations will display Double Sided POW/MIA Flags as a sign of respect, especially if the flag is flown on a daily basis.
